Royal Printing Em. de Jong and Jungfer Druckerei und Verlag join forces

Royal Printing Em. de Jong acquired the shares of Jungfer Druckerei und Verlag GmbH from board members Guido Lang and Roger Mellinghausen on the 18th of May and have taken a majority stake in the company. The current managing director Andreas Wulf will retain his shares and the management of the company will continue under his leadership. The acquisition also concerns the subsidiaries Silverlynx Media GmbH and Rototov.
The combination of the two companies will create a market leader within the European doordrop markets with a total paper consumption of approximately 480 million kilograms, 1.300 employees and a combined turnover exceeding 400 million Euros annually. The business is fully focused on providing integrated solutions towards retail company’s in the area of print marketing communication, with a primary focus on the designated markets of Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and United Kingdom. With this merge of services, the companies can serve their customers even better in the increasingly consolidating and internationalising printing industry.

Jungfer Druckerei und Verlag, based in Herzberg am Harz, in the middle of Germany, has a turnover of around 120 million Euro with 360 employees. The owners have led the company, with its high-tech and innovative machinery, into one of the leading web printing companies in Germany, specialising in high-volume doordrops, for more than 40 years, serving customers from all areas of the retail sector.
Running 9 web presses and multiple insert machines, 130 million kilograms of paper is printed annually in Herzberg am Harz. In 2011, the company has already invested in an innovative stand-alone energy source and can therefore claim to be environmentally friendly.
Since 2009, Jungfer Druckerei und Verlag has been active in the Netherlands throughout the subsidiary Rototov. In 2010, the over all service was expanded with the establishment of Silverlynx Media in Herzberg am Harz.
